Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Everything on Earth, collector slots, pricing, and how it works.

01What is Everything on Earth / bluemarble.day?

Everything on Earth is a public listing for independent SaaS sites and vibe-coded products. It's styled as an alien field guide to Earth — a curated catalog where indie makers can claim a pixel specimen and appear on a public collectors list.

02Is this an auction like outbid.lol?

No. This is a fixed-price listing, not an auction or a bidding war. You pay a set price ($3–$20) for a collector slot — no one can outbid you, and there's no pay-to-rank leaderboard. Think of it as a museum plaque, not a competition.

03How much does a collector slot cost?

Slots are priced between $3 and $20 USD, depending on the specimen. Prices are fixed and shown on each item page. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.

04How many collectors can each specimen have?

Each specimen can have up to five collectors at the same time. When all five slots are occupied, the earliest-expiring collector leaves the list when their term ends, and that slot opens for the next collector.

05How long does a collector slot last?

Each slot lasts 180 days. After that, you move to the previous owners archive — your name, link, and one-line site introduction remain on the item page permanently.

06What appears on the listing?

Your name, a link to your site, and a one-line introduction. These appear on the specimen's collectors list for 180 days, then move to the archive section.

07Who is this for?

Independent makers, solo developers, and small teams who want a public listing for their SaaS, indie product, or vibe-coded project. It's for people who want exposure without fighting an auction or running ads.

08How do I claim a slot?

Visit the home page at bluemarble.day, browse the available specimens, and click to purchase a slot. For more details on listing your product, see the /creators page.

09Are there refunds?

No. All purchases are virtual/digital collectibles and sales are final. Please review your submission before completing payment. See /terms for full rules.

10Who runs Everything on Earth?

Everything on Earth is published by Blue Marble. For questions or support, email [email protected].

11How is this different from Product Hunt, Indie Hackers, or other directories?

Most directories are free but crowded, or charge ongoing fees. Everything on Earth is a one-time fixed payment for a guaranteed 180-day spot with a permanent archive after. No voting, no ranking — just a public listing.

12What about pay-to-rank boards?

Pay-to-rank boards (like outbid.lol) let you bid for position — pay more to climb, and #1 can be taken at any time. Everything on Earth is different: fixed price, no outbidding, five collectors per specimen, and everyone stays for the full 180 days.
